Karen Bek has been weaving willow for 15 years and started making baskets six years ago. She combines traditional and contemporary techniques to create functional and decorative baskets that showcase the variety of colour and texture of willow varieties. Her work often incorporates other natural found or coppiced materials that are used as handles or bases and enable unique pieces to be formed.
