Buff Noir is willow that has been steamed and stripped of its bark. The willow rods have the qualities of buff, with the look of steamed willow. This makes Buff Noir a great choice for adding strips of colour to baskets and sculptures. Having been soaked before mellowing Danny weaves them into the exclusive range of vassals on sale through Contemporary and Country's Viewing Room (1-29 August, 2026)
