Linda Jamieson

Recent paintings of Seahenge by Linda Jamieson stem from a prehistoric 4,000 year-old timber circle revealed by wave action in an extraordinary act of auto-archaeology on the North Norfolk coast, in 1998.

Linda Jamieson is an artist living and working on the Norfolk coast. She studied at Central Saint Martins and worked for some years as a textile designer before returning to painting.
She is in using the genre of landscape painting as a recognisable portal into a space for exploring technical and emotional issues arising from the practice itself.
She works with a variety of media including oil and acrylic.
