Jacksons are an established artists supplies company based in London. In 2016 they announced a series of artist awards for artists selected from their extensive client group.
Now in its eleventh year, the Jackson's Art Prize is open to artists working internationally at professional, semi-professional and even amateur levels. The annual award attracts entries in all two-dimensional media including painting, drawing, and original printmaking from artists working across most recognised genres.

While the prize has evolved over the last decade, the intentions behind it have remained the same; to bring together a global community of creatives and showcase the work of artists of all ages and abilities.
The extended long list was announced 25 February, and this gets whittled down further and the final list announced on 5 March. The various individual awards (and there are quite a few!), are then announced regularly during March.
This year’s Guest Judging Panel is made up of exciting artists known in the world of contemporary painting: Deborah Smith, Caroline Walker, Faye Wei Wei, Brogan Bertie, Max Naylor, and Eleanor Johnson (last year's winner).
The award winners are then reselected to even fewer, and their work entered into two potential exhibitions: The Affordable Art Fair exhibition is an art fair held in Hampstead London from 6 – 10 May 2026 and the second opportunity to exhibit is at the Bankside Gallery, Bankside South London on 23 June.
