Evolving from and revolving around Asteroidea there will be a series of events on offer to visitors:

Sunday June 21st 
Solstice Opening Event
8.30am – 10.30 pm
The opening of Asteroidea. 
At dusk Hugh Lupton will tell the story of Orion, with improvised sound, projection and voice by Aether (Maria Pavledis, Cat Jones, Marian Saunders, Dave Farmer and Jillian Bain Christie). 
No booking required

Sunday June 28th 
Hidden Treasures of Norfolk’s Secret Sea
3pm
Divers Rob Spray and Dawn Watson will give an illustrated talk of the wonders of the Norfolk chalk reef including the extraordinary lives of starfish.  They will also offer a seaweed pressing activity.  £5 per adult, children free.

Tuesday June 30th 
As Above So Below.  Poetry Event
7 pm – 9 pm
Bring your favourite poems about the sea and the stars to read and share.  Chaired by Hugh Lupton.   
Free, booking essential.

Saturday July 4th  
Reading the Stars
4 – 7pm
Creative writing workshop Phil Barrett, inspired by Asteroidea. 
4 pm -5.30 pm. 
Do come along and join the group for refreshments at 5.30 pm and listen to what they have written.

Sunday July 5th 
Finissage Event
8 till late
You are invited attend a seated meal in the aisle of the church – everyone brings a contribution to share.  At dusk we will celebrate the end of the exhibition with ritual, projected moving image, and sound curated by Charlotte Arculus and Rachel Wright.  You can participate with sound, movement and drawing.

Paul conducts studio visits to maintain strong relationships with artists, designers and craftspeople who show their work with us. He manages the main C&C website and has developed the online shop where selected works are presented for sale.

 

Paul established his design company, Sugarfree, in 1990 and quickly gained a reputation for delivering fresh, effective marketing campaigns and brand identities for clients including Save the Children Fund, United Nations Association and UNHCR. Over the years those added to the roster include IPC Magazines, Arts Council England, The Roundhouse, Barbican Centre, Arts Marketing Association, Look Ahead Housing and Care, Paddington Waterside, BBC Worldwide, Commonwealth Foundation, Prestel, City of London Corporation, Baker Street Quarter, Victoria BID and the University of East Anglia.
